An ensemble visited Hart Plain Church Waterlooville on Sunday 22nd December to play for their candle lit carol service. It was a traditional carol service with the band playing 'Once in Royal David's City', 'Hark the Herald', 'O Little Town of Bethlehem', 'Away in a Manger', 'While Shepherds Watched' and 'We Three Kings'. There then came a break from tradition with a new carol 'Rejoice! The Saviour is Here' with the lyrics specially written by members of the Church, played to the tune ' I'll Go, in the Strength of the Lord'. We then played '12 Days of Christmas' before finishing back with the traditional with 'O Come all ye Faithful'.
