9 members of the band visited the Eastleigh lodge on Wednesday 18th December to play carols at the end of the lodge's Christmas dinner. The ensemble mainly played requests such as 'Hark the Herald', 'Silent Night', 'Once in Royal David's City', 'First Nowell' and 'Good King Wencelas'. The singers also chose 'When a Child is Born' which was the first time we had played that carol this year. Also played were 'Jingle Bells' and 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer'. The entertainment finished with '12 Days of Christmas' and 'We Wish you a Merry Christmas'.
