14 members of the band helped to provide some musical encouragement to those participating at Cancer Research's first Relay for Life which took place at Trojans Club over the weekend of 20th/21st July 2019. The ensemble was invited to play for approx. 35mins as the 24hr relay walk came towards the end on Sunday 21st.
The band tried to help give encouragement to those walking by playing 'Home Again', 'A Swinging Safari' and 'The Mighty Power' featuring a solo from Will. This was followed by 'A Children's March', 'The Lion King' and 'Oh Listen to the Band'. We finished off with 'I Will Follow Him', and 'The Muppets'. Some members of the band then joined in to walk the final two laps as the event came to a close.
