The band visited the annual St Cross fete on Saturday 29th June to entertain the crowds on a scorching hot day. We played three sessions in between the Morris dancing and the Punch and Judy show, luckily whilst they were performing it gave us chance to find some shade from the sun.
We started our performance with the march 'Home Again' and followed that up with pieces such as 'Melodies of Britain' and 'Roman Wall'. During the afternoon we also played pieces such as 'Oh Listen to the Band', 'High Spirits', 'Swinging Safari' as well as favourites 'I Will Follow Him' and 'The Muppett Show'.
Thanks must go to Sabrina, Jack, Claudia and Lizette all returning from university for the afternoon to help the overall performance.
