The band were invited to Hart Plain Church, Waterlooville to lead their Candle lit carol service on Sunday 16th December. A group of 11 played for the service led by Rev. Kate Macfarlane which was a fairly traditional carol service, with carols interspersed with readings, all by candle light which helped to create that seasonal atmosphere. The carols played were 'Once in Royal David's City', 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing', 'Oh Little Town of Bethlehem', 'Away in a Manger', 'While Shepherds Watched their Flocks', 'We Three Kings' and 'O Come all ye Faithful'. The only slight break with tradition was the addition of 'The 12 Days of Christmas' performed half way through the service.

15 members provided a selection of carols for the carol service at Horton Heath community Centre on December 16. Members of the church provided a tea after the service for all those that had taken part.

6 members of the band formed an ensemble to play for the Rose Window lodge Christmas dinner on Monday 17th December. We started with 'Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer' before taking requests from the diners. Carols performed were 'Ding Dong Merrily on High', 'Away in a Manger', 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing' plus another 3 or 4. The carols were all accompanied heartily by the diners singing as we moved to the traditional climax of the entertainment with 'Jingle Bells', 'The 12 Days of Christmas', before ending with 'We Wish you a Merry Christmas'.

7 members of the band visited the Neurological unit at Southampton General hospital on Tuesday 18th December to bring some seasonal cheer to the patients and staff. Carols played were 'Joy to the World' and 'Away in a Manger' as an ensemble. The band were also joined by singers from the Salvation Army choir to perform 'In the Bleak Mid-Winter', 'Once in Royal David's City' and 'We Wish you a Merry Christmas'

The next event for the band was to play at the Eastleigh Masonic centre on Wednesday 19th December. 11 members of the band performed what was supposed to be a carol service but turned out to be more of a concert due to a lack of carol sheets for the singers. We performed a dozen carols including 'Joy to the World', 'Silent Night' and 'Deck the Hall'. We also played 'Mid Winter' arr. Richard Phillips and 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' arr. Andrew Mackereth. The evening's entertainment culminated in 'The 12 Days of Christmas' and 'We Wish you a Merry Christmas'.

An ensemble of 11 players visited the head office of Eastleigh Borough Council to perform carols on Friday 21st December. The band welcomed back Dan on trombone who was back in Chandler's Ford visiting prior to Christmas. The band played for around 90 minutes in the cafe area to entertain staff and visitors. A wide range of carols were performed from the traditional to some of the more uncommon carols including 'Brightest and Best', 'Infant Holy' and 'Personent Hodie'.
