The band was out in good numbers to perform at the company's annual Christmas Concert which took place at Chandler's Ford Methodist church on Saturday 15th December. The band opened the concert with 'Sleigh Ride' by Leroy Anderson arr. by Ernest Tomlinson. This was followed by the quiet and reflective 'Away in a Manger' by Paul Curnow, and then 'Tuba Smarties' by Herbie Flowers which featured a solo by bass player Morro. The band's first session was completed with 'Mistletoe and Wine' arr. by F.E.Evans, a piece obviously made famous by Cliff Richard.

After a break, during which the different sections of the company performed items, the band returned to lead some carol singing. The audience were invited to sing along as the band performed 'We Three Kings', 'Jingle Bells', 'Joy to the World', and 'We Wish you a Merry Christmas'. As the concert closed the band played 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' as a finale.
