Presentation Evening

The second event of a busy day was to play at the Company’s Awards and Achievements Presentation evening. The band opened the evening with ‘Anchor Song’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Lichfield’ and ‘I Started a Joke’ featuring a duet by Diane and Fionn. Badges and Trophies were then presented to boys from the company, including 2 trophies presented the band members. The Sally-Anne Treneer trophy which this year was awarded to Annabelle for showing leadership throughout the past year. The Catherine Treneer trophy was jointly awarded to Emma (percussion) and Kieran (Baritone) to recognise improvements they have made on their respective instruments during the past year. The Rev. Peter Cornick and Dan were also presented with a framed selection of photos to remind them of their time in the band and they prepare to leave for a new post in London. The band then finished off the evening by playing ‘New Recruit’, ‘Gaelic Blessing’ and ‘Rule Britannia’.
