The second part of this weekend’s band events trilogy saw the band entertaining Church members at the Church’s social farewell to the Cornick family. The event was organised to enable friends, family and Church members to pop in and out of during an afternoon and social and say farewell to Peter, Helen and Dan. The band was only part of the entertainment which also included the Occasional Music Group, Richard Wright on his guitar and Kevin Brown on piano, all of which were allocated various slots during the afternoon.

The band played 3 short sets, first up was ‘London River Overture’ by R Heath, ‘Barnard Castle’ by G Richards and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ by Alan Menken. The second set included ‘Connecticut Capers’ by Edrich Siebert, ’Mancini Magic’ by Alan Fernie and ‘Majesty’ from the Salvation Army Scripture Based Songs book. The third and final set was ‘When Your Smiling’ and ‘Great is the Darkness’ from the Scripture Based Songs book.
