The build up to Christmas continued by keeping the band busy, on Monday 18 December 7 members of the band went to play carols at Kingscourt lodge. Approximately 10 traditional carols were performed along with 'The 12 Days of Christmas' all heartily sung to by our audience. Then on Wednesday 20 December 8 members of the band went to play at the Eastleigh lodge, again playing a set of traditional carols to an appreciative audience. Thursday 21 December saw a group of 13 performing at the Neurological unit at Southampton general hospital. Traditional carols were performed around the wards and corridors under the leadership of Jack Simmonds. Friday 22 December saw half of the band performing traditional carols and more advanced arrangements of seasonal music in the lobby of Eastleigh Borough council's offices. Â
