For it was the day before Christmas and the band was out to perform twice again. In the morning the band visited Romsey Methodist Church to provide the music for their morning carols service. The service was led by Rev. Peter Cornick and was a traditional mixture of carols, readings and also featured a short film about some flies in the stable at the time of the birth of the baby Jesus. The carols performed were 'O Little Town of Bethlehem', 'In the Bleak Mid Winter', 'See him Lying on a Bed of Straw', 'Silent Night', 'It was on a Starry Night', 'As with Gladness Men of Old', and finally 'Hark! The Herald Angel Sing'.
In the evening the band visited Bishopstoke Methodist Church for their annual informal carol service. The evening started with a special recording of a verse of 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' which was filmed so it could be sent to past member Jack who is not well at the present time. The service started with 'Angels from the Realms of Glory' and moved quickly onto 'The Holly and the Ivy'. The evening proceeded at a pace with the audience choosing their favourite carols many of which were traditional but also included 'Come and Join the Celebration', 'Jingle Bells' and 'Joy to the World'. The evening wouldn't be complete without a rendition of 'The 12 Days of Christmas' which was enjoyed by all.
