15 members of the band went to play Christmas carols at East Horton golf club for the Skal club on Sunday 10 December. The entertainment started as the guests finished their Christmas dinners with 'Joy to the World' from the Salvation Army's 'New Christmas Praise' carols compilation book. This was followed by 'Little Donkey', 'Ding Dong Merrily', 'Away in a Manger', 'Good King Wenceslas' and 'Jingle Bells'.

The band also played three pieces from the Salvation Army's book entitled 'Sounds of Christmas ' these being 'A Holly Waltz' by Martin Cordner, 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' arr. By Andrew Meckereth and 'Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer' arr. Martin Cordner. Finally the band couldn't leave before playing the much requested 'The 12 Days of Christmas' arr. Keith Lever.
