On Saturday the 7th of October a small group of us from the 1st Chandlers Ford Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade Brass Band went to London to join with the London Steadfast Band. There we played hymns for their annual service of remembrance. We a few played a few hymns including ‘Immortal invisible’, ‘Underneath the banner’, ‘Whitburn’ and ‘Song of the Highway’. We also played the National Anthem. Although we had the inconvenience of being stuck in the traffic, caused by the car accident which we give our thoughts for swift recoveries to those affected, a good time was had by all.
