Fryern School Fete
Although the balance was slightly lob-sided as we only had 4 cornet players available, the overall sound produced was good. The biggest challenge for the band was the strong breeze which meant keeping the music and folders on the stands whilst playing was quite a challenge. Time was quite tight so we tailored our programme specially, we started with the march ‘The Anchor Song’ by G.S.S. This was followed by the Disney classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’ by Alan Menken, ‘Nar Solen Fejer Gaden’ by Hans Demmeyer, ‘My Guy’ by William Smokey Robinson, and we finished we the upbeat square dance ‘Connecticut Capers’ by Edrich Siebert.
