Supper Club Songs

A band of 15 players attended Chandler's Ford Methodist Church on Tuesday 26 March to perform a short concert for the Mens' Supper Club. We opened our performance with the lively 'Rock Around the Clock' followed by 'Beauty and the Beast' for a change of tempo. Simon then spoke about the history of the band, noting some of more memorable events from the past.  Our performance continued with the march 'True and Trusty' and 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight'. 


Then another short interval, where Simon shared information about the band, including the fact that one member, Brian C, has been playing since it started, a total of 52 years. 

We then changed the style of our performance by playing 3 arrangements by the Salvation Army, 'Be Still for the Presence', 'Majesty' before finishing with the rousing hymn 'Go in the Strength'.
