Spring morning services

An ensemble provided the music for Sunday morning worship at Chandler's Ford Methodist Church on Sunday 8th February, for a service on the theme of 'Light' led by Miss Barbara Hillier. The first hymn was 'Be Still and Know'. This was followed by 'God is Here' which was sung to the tune 'Bethany' and 'Christ be our Light'.  'Show me How to Stand for Justice' was sung to the tune 'Here is Love', and the service finished with 'The Spirit Lives to set us Free'.  


A small ensemble of 9 players gathered at Chandler's Ford Methodist Church to play for the morning service led by Peter Castle on 22nd March. The opening hymn was 'Jesus Calls us here to Meet Him' which was sung to the tune 'Abbots Leigh', followed by 'Come Down, O Live Divine'. Also played was 'Hyfrodil' which was played for the hymn 'Swiftly Pass the Clouds of Glory' and 'As Your Family, Lord, See us Here'. The service concluded with the hymn 'Have Faith in God, my Heart' which was sung to the tune 'Carlisle'. 


A Septet gathered to provide the music for the morning service at Chandler's Ford Methodist Church on 19 April. The service led by Rachael Hawkins was on the theme of the Eco Day which the Church hosted the day before. 

The first hymn was 'How Great Thou Art' followed by 'Think of a World Without any Flowers'. We then played 'God in his Love', 'Beauty for Brokenness' before finishing with 'We Have a Gospel to Proclaim'.
