The Company and the Band began a Year of celebration by hosting a concert on Saturday 10 September 2022 at Chandler's Ford Methodist Church. The 1st Chandler's Ford BB Company is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and the Band is celebrating its 50th anniversary during this calendar Year.

In respect to Queen Elizabeth who passed away two days before the concert we began with 'The National Anthem'.

The first quarter of the concert began with the march 'Home Again', followed by 'The Lion King', 'Mancini Magic' and 'Dare to be a Daniel' featuring a solo by horn player Maggie.

The band then had a rest whilst the audience was entertained by two songs from the Occasional Music Group.

The second quarter continued with pieces 'Dancing Queen', 'Jesus is Lord', 'The Muppett Show Theme' and The March 'High Spirits' which was picked up on one of the band's trips to Denmark.

After an interval the second half started with 'Dovetails' a piece written by Simon Farrenden. Also performed was 'Pirates of the Caribbean', 'Sagina', and 'Till I Hear you Sing' featuring a Euphonium solo by Fionn.

It was then time for the Occasional Music Group to perform two further songs.

The final quarter of the concert featured part of 'The Beatles Medley No.1', 'Taxi', 'How The West was Won' and 'Over There', a piece made famous for its use on the adverts for Go Compare.

The band played well in its first full concert for well over two Years. Thanks to Claudia, Jack and Morro who returned and played with the Band, and helped mark the start of a Year of celebration.
